One Year Later
Almost one year after my intitial complaint, I sent a letter asking why I hadn't received my apology as I had been promised. Here is that letter and the subsequent email responses.
Now for the kicker. Almost a year later, after many letters and emails, I received a forwarded copy of an apology from the offending code enforcement officer addressed to my secretary. I got nothing, not even a mention. Notice that the code enforcement officer doesn't even know who filed the complaint against him. He believes it was my secretary. I really doubt this apology was sincere.
